Battlefield 4 Config thread - Foreign Embassy - 01-19-2015 09:17 AM Just want to share my tweaks. I feel this gives the smoothest performance on my computer. This is with an i5-2500k and a R9 280x In game settings: I turn effects and post processing to low. Everything else is whatever you feel like putting it at. Mines on high. Make a file called user.cfg and put it in your battlefield 4 directory. mine has these lines in it. GameTime.MaxVariableFps 65.000000 RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0 RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 1 RenderDevice.VSyncEnable 0 WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0 WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0 PerfOverlay.DrawFps 0 RE: Battlefield 4 Config thread - Neitherreal - 04-19-2015 08:18 AM WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0 WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0 WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0 WorldRender.MotionBlurMaxSampleCount 0 WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0 WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0 PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0 PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1 GameTime.MaxVariableFps 125 WorldRender.PlanarReflectionEnable 0 RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 1 RenderDevice.VSyncEnable 0 |
